Barbara Jean Glaser, 71, died on Sept. 8, leaving behind a loving family and many friends.
She was the retired co-owner of Town & Country Hairstyles in Bartlett, a gifted home cook who had numerous recipes published in The Commercial Appeal, a lover of loose slots, 'American Idol', and most of all, her family.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, Terry Glaser of Bartlett, daughter Missy Stivers (John) of Memphis, daughter Amy Davidson of Bartlett and son Max Glaser of Memphis. She also leaves her grandchildren, Oliver Davidson of Bartlett and Lily Stivers of...

Barbara Jean Glaser, 71, died on Sept. 8, leaving behind a loving family and many friends.
She was the retired co-owner of Town & Country Hairstyles in Bartlett, a gifted home cook who had numerous recipes published in The Commercial Appeal, a lover of loose slots, 'American Idol', and most of all, her family.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, Terry Glaser of Bartlett, daughter Missy Stivers (John) of Memphis, daughter Amy Davidson of Bartlett and son Max Glaser of Memphis. She also leaves her grandchildren, Oliver Davidson of Bartlett and Lily Stivers of Memphis, a soon-to-arrive great-grandchild, sisters Jane Biggs (Ron Conley) of Sardis and Tommie Drake of Hickory Withe, and three generations of loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held 5-8 p.m. Monday at Memphis Funeral Home, 3700 North Germantown Road in Bartlett, and funeral services at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow at Memphis Funeral Home cemetery.
